FULTON, Miss. (WTVA) - Itawamba Community College criminal justice students and instructors will benefit from a $50,000 grant that was awarded to Mississippi College.
The goal is to help researchers explore ways to battle against global terrorism.
The grant comes from the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security and will fund Mississippi College’s Project Arrowhead.
Mississippi College researchers begin working with ICC starting in January. Students from both schools will assist with the project.
Project Arrowhead is aimed to learn what motivates young people in the United States to join terrorist groups like ISIS.
