LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — Law enforcement is looking into the death of a man whose body was found Thursday afternoon in Louisville.
Police Chief Sean Holdiness said hunters made the discovery around 4:25 p.m. on a long wooded road connected to Eiland Middle School.
According to the chief, the body had been there for about 24 hours.
Efforts are being made to identify the man described as being Black.
Police called in a crime scene unit from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
