WASHINGTON (WTVA) - One U.S. representative from Mississippi voted to impeach President Donald Trump on Wednesday.
Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) voted in favor of impeachment.
His fellow Reps. Trent Kelly, Michael Guest and Steven Palazzo, all Republicans, voted against impeachment.
The U.S. House of Representatives voted Wednesday afternoon to impeach the president following last week’s deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Many in Washington blame the president for the riot, claiming he incited rioters to storm the Capitol.
Many rioters managed to break into the building and some stole federal property.
Similar to Mississippi, only one representative from Alabama, Rep. Terri Sewell (D-Ala.), voted for impeachment.
Alabama Reps. Robert Aderholt, Jerry Carl, Barry Moore, Mike Rogers, Mo Brooks, Gary Palmer, all Republicans, voted against impeachment.
