HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) - District superintendent, Tony Cook, confirmed that a Houston high school band member tested positive for the coronavirus.
Band director, Eric Malone sent a letter to parents wednesday.
In the letter he said the last time the student was in the school was July 24th.
Malone told parents, some band members may be at risk because they were in close contact with the student.
He instructed those members to quarantine and not return to school for 14 days.
