JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - School buildings will remain closed in Mississippi for the remainder of the spring semester, the governor announced Tuesday afternoon.
Even though students cannot physically go to their school campuses, Gov. Tate Reeves said distance education such as online instruction, will continue.
On March 19, Reeves closed public schools in the state until April 17 to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
