JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi’s governor has appointed Gray Tollison as circuit court judge for the 3rd Circuit Court District, Place 1.
The 3rd Circuit Court District covers Benton, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Lafayette, Marshall, Tippah, and Union counties.
Tollison fills the vacancy of Judge Andrew Howorth who announced his retirement on June 30.
Tollison previously represented District 9 in the Mississippi State Senate from 1996 to 2019.
He is a graduate of Rhodes College and the University of Mississippi Law School.
