BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) – A man from Georgia was arrested in his home state on charges from Booneville.
On June 25, Booneville police received a report of a stolen vehicle taken from a hotel in Booneville.
The investigation led to charges being filed against Rafeal Huguley, 35, of Columbus, Georgia. He was arrested on November 3 in Georgia and was extradited back to Mississippi.
Booneville police say the vehicle was located and recovered.
As a result, Huguley is charged with the felony taking of a motor vehicle. His bond was set at $20,000.
The case will be presented to a future Prentiss County grand jury.
