STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Travis Outlaw, former NBA player and Starkville native, responded to Kobe Bryant's death.
Outlaw was the first-round draft pick in 2003 for the Portland Trail Blazers. Outlaw went on to play 12 seasons in the NBA, playing for the Trail Blazers, Nets, Clippers and Kings.

Bryant left a legacy behind for not only the new generations but the old as well.
Emotions are still raw and many people have visited the Staples Center, home of Kobe Bryant's team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Fans left flowers and pictures on the sidewalk in memory of Bryant.
The Lakers will host the Portland Trail Blazers this Friday in Los Angeles.
