TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Jo's Café is working to open a restaurant after years of success operating a food truck.
Despite the pandemic, business is up and the business needs a physical location.
Jennifer Brignac, co-owner of the to-go style eatery, said she and her co-owners first started thinking about making a change four months ago.
"We were growing steadily and we had to do something,” she said of recent business. “It was either expand the food truck or a brick-and-mortar [location]."
The new location is set up on West Jefferson Street on the former site of Homer's Steakhouse.
The Café's operators plan to have a soft opening of the new restaurant sometime in November.
The restaurant’s capacity will be between 100 and 115 people.
