NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) - More than 300 people across Union County don't know where their next meal will come from.

That's why Cook's Adult Daycare partnered with Mid-South Food Bank to load up vehicles with food for families in New Albany.

To get food, people only had to prove they live in Union County.

The owner of Cook's Adult Daycare said not many people in Union County know about the services.

"It's great to be able to do this and be able to help someone in need," Calrenease Cook said. "A lot of people are in need but they don't know about services like this, and we are trying to get that out in the community to let them know that we are here to service them."

The Mid-South Food Bank comes once a month at Cook's Adult Daycare.
