LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - Lee County officers stopped a reported stolen truck Thursday morning, leading to the arrest of a Florida man.

Donald Culpepper, 52, was arrested Thursday for possession of stolen property and possession of meth.

Yesterday morning, Lee County deputies met a 2016 GMC U-Haul box truck on Interstate 22 and the Natchez Trace Parkway.

"Upon receiving information of the truck being reported stolen from Florida, a traffic stop was conducted," stated the sheriff's department.

Culpepper was identified as the driver.

Deputies searched the vehicle and reportedly found meth. This led to Culpepper's arrest on site. He was then taken to the Lee County jail.

His bond was set at $50,000.
