Eupora, Miss. (WTVA) - The Eupora Fire Department and Walthall Fire Department responded to a business fire at 2768 West Roane Ave in Eupora Saturday night.

Eupora Fire Chief Mitch Jackson said the call came in around 9:22 p.m.

According to Jackson, 35 firefighters battled the blaze at Bright Eyes and Second Chances until around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The fire started in the attic and the crews were able to keep it from spreading as they worked to extinguish the flames. The building was left with moderate fire and water damage. No one was there at the time.

Jackson said they believe the cause of the fire was electrical, but the Eupora Fire Department is still looking into it.

He added he was thankful the Walthall Fire Department was there to assist with the incident.
