SMITHVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - A Monday night fire destroyed a grocery store in Smithville.
Firefighters were called before 7 p.m. to Smithville Discount Grocery and Variety at Highway 25 and Commerce Street.
The store had closed for the evening less than 30 minutes before that.
Smithville Fire Chief Scott Morgan says it's not clear what caused the fire.
There's no word of anyone being hurt.
