CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) - A major fire in Corinth has left an auction business in ruins.

Firefighters were called after 4 a.m. Monday to Scotty Little and Associates Auction Company in the 100-block of Highway 72.

Fire training officer Jerry Whirley describes the business as a big open metal building with wood trusses.

Whirley says firefighters got the fire under control around 6:30 a.m., but they were still there during the lunch hour putting out hot spots on the building.

No one was hurt.

A state investigator has been called to try to determine the cause of the fire.
