TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Elementary students in Lee County got a chance to display their artwork.
Every elementary school in the county was represented by several students.
Each piece of art in the exhibit was specifically chosen by the art teacher at each school.
Teachers, students and their families packed the museum to view the wide variety of artwork.
Lee County Art Coordinator Gena Yarbrough said this is a great way for the students to feel proud of their work.
“It’s a time for us to celebrate all the elementary school students' artwork that they’ve done throughout the year. We pull the best work from six different elementary schools and three different middle schools."
The exhibit will stay open through April 15 and will be open to the public.
