Ecru and Pontotoc joined together to host its Christmas open house.
This year's open house had some restrictions because of the Coronavirus, but not enough to stop the holiday spirit.
“Of Course with the Covid pandemic, we just had a lot of restrictions put on us,” said Operations Coordinator Nikki Moore. “But we are just so happy everyone is coming out to shop with us and spread a little holiday joy.
The stores provided live music, open house specials, refreshments and door prizes. Santa even stopped by.
The store manager of Tanglefoot Market said all the stores worked together to promote one another.
“We promote each other, all of us have different items,” said Jennifer Rodgers. “Matter fact I have a couple of vendors in the other stores there and I have a couple of friends that are there."
This year was even more special for the community.
"Well there's so many limited things to do this year, the parade has been canceled,” said Moore. “So we're just glad to see that downtown seems to be full right now and everybody seems to be coming out shopping with us."
This is the fourth year that the towns have joined together to host the Christmas open house.
