NEW HOPE, Miss. (WTVA) - Two men face charges for allegedly robbing and beating another person in Lowndes County.
U.S. Marshals arrested Brandon Runnels, 19, and Donavan Prather, 18, in Lowndes County on Sept. 15.
The male victim claimed the suspects held him at gunpoint, robbed and beat him the previous week at a home on Old New Hope Road.
The hospital in Columbus treated the victim for fractured facial bones and later released him.
Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said investigators determined Runnels and Prather committed the crime.
Lowndes County investigators charged both with aggravated assault, armed robbery and kidnapping.
