CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) – Two separate traffic stops result in two drug arrests in Clay County.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, 35-year-old Stacy Berry of West Point was arrested on January 19 on Highway 50 West.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott says investigators seized approximately four grams of liquid meth, along with syringes, and a misdemeanor amount of marijuana.
Scott says Berry was also charged with two counts of child endangerment due to the narcotics found.
The other traffic stop resulted in the arrest of 52-year-old Carl Haughton of West Point. The stop happened on January 20 on Old Vinton Road.
He was charged with the possession of a controlled substance, as well as DUI-2nd.
Berry’s bond was set at $16,556 and Haughton’s bond was set at $6,431.75.
