JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — The executive director of the Mississippi Department of Human Services will resign from his job later this month.
Christopher Freeze made the announcement Wednesday in a news release from the agency that oversees food stamps and investigates child and elder abuse.
Freeze has not held the job very long. Governor Phil Bryant appointed him to the position on August 1 of last year after serving as special agent in charge of the FBI in Mississippi.
He took over for John Davis, who retired.
