Crews respond to storage facility fire in Houston

Firefighters were called to this blaze at Crop Production Services.

Houston firefighters responded to a fire at a fertilizer storage facility Wednesday night.

HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) - Houston firefighters responded to a fire at a fertilizer storage facility Wednesday night.

This was at the Crop Production Services on Harry Robinson Road. 

Fire Chief Jonathan Blankenship said the owner asked firefighters to not put water on the fire.

Blankenship said the call came in from a sheriff's deputy just before 9 p.m. 

No injuries were reported. The facility is a total loss.
