STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) – A former Starkville teacher, charged with fraud, will appear in justice court in late February.
Jennifer Baggett was arrested on October 3 and charged with six counts of obtaining goods by false information.
According to the Starkville Daily News, she will appear in Oktibbeha County Justice Court at 9 a.m. on Feb. 20, 2018.
According to the newspaper, she is accused of falsely representing herself as “Janey Baggett” and “Kaytelin Baggett” to obtain credit cards and making false statements about her identity and Social Security number.
The incidents reportedly occurred in October 2014, March 2015, April 2015, twice in May 2015 and once more in August 2016.
After her arrest, a Starkville-Oktibbeha Consolidated School District spokesperson confirmed Baggett was no longer with the district.
