Corinth police look for 'fishing' thief

Corinth police are looking for an accused thief.

CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) – Corinth police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing from a car wash.

On Wednesday, December 13, Corinth police posted surveillance video on its Facebook page showing a man putting a money bill into a change holder at the Emmanuel Car Wash.

The video is from December 6.

Detective Jerry Rogers says the man in the video used a $20 bill tied to a string to get the money out.

He says the man did it four times making off with money.

The detective says the car wash owner is offering a $300 cash reward for information.
