Corinth man charged with felony shoplifting in Oxford

A man is accused of shoplifting $1,000 worth of items from a Walmart.

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - A man is accused of shoplifting $1,000 worth of items from a Walmart.

The store in Oxford reported the incident on Jan. 31.

Police identified the suspect as Jacob Chatham, 28, of Corinth. 

He drove away after store employees confronted him, police confirmed.

A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Tupelo police arrested Chatham on Feb. 21.

He is charged with felony shoplifting in Oxford.
