CORINTH, Miss (WTVA)- The city of Corinth is still working to clean up storm damage from tropical storm Olga back in October. The sides of the roads are still lines with debris all over the city.
The Mayor and the Board of Aldermen held a city meeting Tuesday and discussed further clean up efforts.
11 companies bidded for the clean up job. Custom Tree Care is the company that won the bid though.
FEMA is paying for 75% of the clean up cost.
The city will run adds in the local newspaper as well as post on social media for when the clean up crews will come and pick up debris.
There will be multiple times that the crews will be coming through to clean up since there is still so much.
For debris to be picked up, it will have to be on the side of the road in the right away.
