Columbus police work multiple Monday accidents

Multiple accidents in Columbus kept first responders busy on Monday.

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Multiple accidents in Columbus kept first responders busy on Monday.

Four people were taken to the hospital after a car and a van were involved in an accident on Alabama Street in front of Eastside Chevron after 5 p.m.  Three of the injured were in the car.  The fourth person was in the van.

One person was taken to the hospital following an accident in the 1600-block of Highway 69 on the south side of the city.  It appears a sport utility vehicle ran off the road.

Around 7 a.m., police responded to a three-vehicle wreck where Highway 12 and Highway 50 meet at Dutch Village.  No one was taken to the hospital in that crash.
