Columbus police investigates overnight shooting

Police are trying to see if this shooting is related to the one Friday night.

COLUMBUS, Miss.  (WTVA) -- Another person has been shot in Columbus. 

This time it happened in the 400 block of Summerhaven around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. 

Chief Fred Shelton says an argument led to victim being shot. 

He says the person was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Shelton says the suspect and the victim knew each other and this incident was not random. 

Friday night, a similar shooting incident happened in the 1000 block of Shady Street. 

Police are now trying to see if the two shootings are related.
