COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - A cyber tip led to the arrest of a Columbus man for child exploitation.
Lowndes County Detective Tony Cooper says the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department received the tip on October 16 from the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.
The tip stated a person using a Dropbox.com account was illegally downloading images believed to be child pornography.
Cooper says Nathaniel Kyles was developed as a suspect.
Kyles was arrested on November 14 at his residence. Cooper says more evidence was collected during the process.
Kyles was charged with three counts of child exploitation and is currently free on bond.
