COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Columbus residents who were affected by last weekend's tornado need to register for relief.
The Disaster Assistance Center will open on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. to register victims and volunteers.

This is at the Trotter Convention Center in the lower level in downtown Columbus.
The city needs to register every home and business that suffered damage during the tornado. The center will also be open next week.
Victims can register at any time.
Register times for victims:
Wednesday - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday - 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday - 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Supplies will not be given out at this location, but victims' specific needs will be recorded to get the help that is available.
Volunteers also need to register at the Disaster Assistance Center. There will also be a one-time short orientation session for volunteers.
Volunteers will be sent in teams to fill specific needs from the registered storm victims.
