TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - City of Tupelo employees gathered this afternoon to honor the life of a co-worker who died from the coronavirus.
The employees donated money to purchase two benches in memory of Terri Blissard. The benches sit in the City Hall rose garden downtown.
Blissard worked as the city’s grant administrator. Her father said she embraced her role with the city.
“Terri was proud of the work she did for Tupelo, she was a bit of a perfectionist and she was a part of Tupelo’s progress...she was very proud of that," said Jay Blissard.
Blissard passed away in July.
