TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The chief ranger of the Natchez Trace Parkway will soon take the same position at Yellowstone National Park.
Sarah Davis has served as the Natchez Trace’s chief ranger since 2012.
She works at the park’s headquarters in Tupelo.
The Lexington, North Carolina, native will oversee more than 275 employees in Yellowstone’s Resource and Visitor Protection division.
She will be Yellowstone’s 18th chief ranger in its history with the National Parks Service.
Yellowstone National Park is headquartered in Wyoming.
