Car damages front of Tupelo gas station

No one was hurt after a vehicle drove into the front of a gas station in Tupelo.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – No one was hurt after a vehicle drove into the front of a gas station in Tupelo.

According to Tupelo police, the incident happened on Thursday, December 7 at approximately 8:41 p.m. at the Exxon station at 1817 North Gloster Street near Outback Steakhouse.

A store employee told police that a vehicle had driven through the front of the store.

The driver stated she pulled her Chevrolet Malibu into a parking spot and her brakes went out. This caused damage to the front of the store.

The driver was issued a citation for no driver’s license, no insurance and a switched tag.
