TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo police confirmed a person died in an early morning crash on Friday.
The two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of South Gloster Street and Highway 6.
WTVA reporter Sydney Darden captured video of the scene at approximately 2:40.

One vehicle caught fire. Police and firefighters extinguished the flames.
However, the driver of the car was found dead.
Medics transported the driver of the second vehicle to the local emergency room for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police reported no other occupants in either vehicle.
Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green later identified the deceased victim as Frederick Boyd, 33, of Tupelo.
