STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Bulldog Bash is returning this fall, Mississippi State University announced Thursday.
The celebration is held annually and features a free outdoor concert.
This year’s Bash is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 17 in downtown Starkville at the intersection of Jackson and Main streets.
The following day, MSU football team travels to the Liberty Bowl to face the Memphis Tigers.
Bash director Liv Hunter said the decision to move the date to a non-home football game weekend was a well-thought-out evaluation of the event by both the Bulldog Bash committee and the city of Starkville.
The pandemic put the Bash on halt in 2020.
