STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Two Starkville siblings are now facing charges for the assault of an elderly man, which led to gunfire.
The incident happened Sunday on Butler Road.

Kaia Cox, 18, and Terrence Cox, 24, were both arrested Sunday evening for the assault.
Officers arrived on the scene to learn that shots had been fired in the elderly man’s defense.
Officers also say no one was hurt by the shots, and the man did not need medical treatment after the assault.
The two have been released on bonds.
