STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Law enforcement has arrested two people in separate cyberstalking cases in Oktibbeha County.
The latest case involves James Michael Anthony Lambert, 31, of Tupelo.
Lieutenant Brett Watson says Lambert was arrested Monday in Bradley after deputies chased him briefly on foot.
Lambert is not only charged with cyberstalking. He's also charged with extortion, grand larceny and possession of a controlled substance.
The other case involves Brian Coker, 28, of Brandon, who was arrested and charged with a single count of cyberstalking by the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department.
According to Oktibbeha County investigators, this arrest was the result of a complaint filed by a woman about messages sent to her by Coker.
Investigators say Coker used several means of electronic communication to contact the victim.
