Bond set for third West Point shooting suspect

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) – Bond was set at $250,000 for the third person arrested in connection with a West Point shooting.

This bond was set for Jenerrio Jones, 27. He was booked into the Clay County jail Monday and charged with aggravated assault.

He is believed to be involved in the January 13 shooting on 5th Street in West Point. A man was found by police suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was treated at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

This marks the third arrest made in the case.

Soon after the shooting, police charged Joshua Ewing with accessory after the fact. He is believed to have dropped those involved off after the shooting.

On January 17, West Point police charged Tymotheous Henry with aggravated assault.
