ACKERMAN, Miss. (WTVA) - The Choctaw County sheriff said the body found last month has been identified.
Sheriff Brandon Busby identified the body as Jodie Fannin, 45.
Her remains were found on July 15 in a wooded area near Hebron Road.
She was reported missing in Eupora in January. Her husband said she left their home with money to purchase a car.
The sheriff said DNA was used to make the positive identification.
As of Wednesday, no one has been charged in connection with her death.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is the lead agency in the investigation, the sheriff said.
