COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Police are investigating the discovery of a body at a car wash Friday afternoon.
Columbus police officers responded to the car wash on Highway 12 at approximately 1 p.m. about a body inside a car.
According to the police department, officers are treating the scene as a crime scene.
However, they believe the person may have taken their own life.
Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant said more information will be available later.
