Batesville motel suffers significant roof damage following storms

The roof of a local motel is blown off following Thursday night's storms. The manager of the Days Inn in Batesville says they lost power around midnight.

BATESVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - The roof of a local motel is blown off following Thursday night's storms. The manager of the Days Inn in Batesville says they lost power around midnight.

The manager says the fire department arrived early Friday morning to work on cleaning up the damage.

The manager says about 15 rooms checked out by 2 a.m. but not all rooms were affected by the storms damage.
