LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) – More arrests are possible following a disturbance at a Lowndes County bar.
On Monday, officers responded to the Boom Boom Bar and Lounge on Highway 373 in reference to a disturbance involving injuries.
According to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department, the investigation revealed the incident was a domestic disturbance and both people involved received injuries.
Investigators did not release any more information concerning the incident.
One victim was taken to a local hospital.
Jeffrey Barker, 36, of Columbus, was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
