Police investigate shooting at New Albany restaurant

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) - New Albany police continue to investigate a Tuesday afternoon shooting in the parking lot of a restaurant.

Police Chief Chris Robertson said police officers responded to the report of shots fired at the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Park Plaza Drive at approximately 3 p.m.

He said witnesses at the scene told officers that one man shot at another one.

Robertson said no one was injured in the gunfire and the gunman left the restaurant.

He said currently four people have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting.

He said investigators are still trying to determine who fired the gun.
