OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Former Oxford police officer Matthew Kinne will take a plea deal in the murder of Dominique Clayton, his attorney told WTVA on Monday.
Attorney Tony Farese said his client will enter the plea in New Albany on Friday afternoon.

The plea is expected to be life without the possibility of parole.
Kinne was arrested following the death of Clayton in May 2019.
The Oxford Police Department fired Kinne shortly after his arrest.
Members of Clayton’s family said the two had been in a relationship.
Kinne previously pleaded not guilty.
