ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- A new mask order in Aberdeen officially goes into effect on Monday.
“I think it's going to be the best thing to do because this thing is getting bigger,” said Tromeil McCullough.
With cases surging across the nation and north Mississippi Tromeil McCullough feels wearing a mask out in public is more important now than ever before.
“There’s a lot of stuff going on now, these are difficult times. I'm 55 years old I never thought it would be this way,” said McCullough.
With the number of cases growing in Aberdeen, the mayor is ordering everyone in the community to wear a mask while in public.
However, McCullough feels that people should stay at home as much as possible.
“They opening back up is just messing things up I think, I think they should have let it stay closed just a little while longer,” said McCullough.
