ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - Aberdeen’s police chief says police in Minneapolis, Minnesota, arrested murder suspect Amari Johnson, 20, Wednesday morning.
Police Chief Henry Randle said Johnson faces a charge of murder when he is returned to Mississippi.
Aberdeen police sought Johnson in connection with a fatal shooting that happened Saturday, Nov. 28 near Forrest Street in Aberdeen.
Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley identified the victim as Sergio James, 35, of Aberdeen.
