Aberdeen alderman passes away

Aberdeen Alderman Clyde Brunson Odom passed away on October 30.

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) – A special election will be decided to fill the Ward 4 alderman spot recently occupied by the late Clyde Brunson Odom.

Odom, 76, died on Monday, October 30 at his house in Aberdeen.

He served a total of three terms as an alderman with the City of Aberdeen. The Board of Aldermen will discuss a special election to fill the spot next Tuesday.

He served the city in various forms following a career in the military.

Aberdeen’s Tisdale-Lann Memorial funeral home is handling funeral arrangements.
