TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA)- Sera and Soul opened back in November. When the cornavirus hit the business had to close for nine weeks.
Sera and Stephanie Hall opened their bath and beauty business Sera+Soul back in November. Both said they used the time off to come up with new products and scents.
Sera hall was worried about whether the business would be able to come back, "It was scary, we were just so unsure of what was going to happen moving forward, we didn't know how long we were going to be shut down."
Sera and Stephanie introduced more products, including hand sanitizer that they make.
Stephanie Hall says business started to pick up and customers said they want support more locally owned businesses, "There has been a resurgence of people wanting to do business with small business."
Both are thankful for the ability to reopen and continue their business. "Your business is everything, it's what keeps us alive, open and we are so thankful."
