OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday evening.
Oxford police officers responded that day to Lafayette Place apartments and found a vehicle that had been shot in the bumper.
Capt. Hildon Sessums said officers found 10 .22 caliber shell casings nearby.
Witnesses described two people in another vehicle who police believe may be responsible.
One person was described as a black male with tall hair. The second person was described as a black male with medium-length dreadlocks.
Police did not provide any further descriptions.
