WTVA's Matt Laubhan wins at 44th Southeast Emmy Awards

The 44th Annual Southeast Regional Emmy Awards was last night and our very own Chief Meteorologist Matt Laubhan won big. Matt received an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in On-Air Talent.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The 44th Annual Southeast Regional Emmy Awards was last night and our very own Chief Meteorologist Matt Laubhan won big. Matt received an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in On-Air Talent.

Matt, meteorologist Joel Young and our News Director Mike Raffaele, were also nominated for "Outstanding Weather Coverage." This was during Tropical Depression Harvey.

Our Joel Young was there to represent WTVA and enjoy the event in Atlanta.
