PITTSBORO, Miss. (WTVA) - A Bruce man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Pittsboro store Monday morning.

Willie Pinson, 56, was arrested at his home on Lincoln Street in Bruce Monday afternoon.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says the robbery happened sometime near 11 a.m. Monday at the Pittsboro Liquor and Wine store.

Pinson has been charged with strong-armed robbery.

He is currently being held in the Calhoun County jail.

Later Monday, Pollan stated officers received an anonymous tip about Pinson's location in Bruce. It turns out Bruce police had a misdemeanor warrant out for his arrest.
