Dramatic video shows January armed robbery; police ask for help

Columbus police have released dramatic surveillance video from last month's armed robbery at a Columbus gas station.

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Columbus police have released dramatic surveillance video from last month's armed robbery at a Columbus gas station.  

In the new video, the robber can be seen pushing a man to the ground, pointing a gun at him. 

The incident happened the night of January 23 sometime near 8:45 p.m. at the Exxon gas station at 1225 Main Street. 

Police say a man entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. The man left the building through the front door and was last seen walking south.
